The EC card readerLane 5000 impresses with its compact design and optimal user-friendliness. It comes with a large, high-resolution TFT color display with integrated signature pad. Personalized operating menus and advertising videos can also be displayed on the landscape-based touchscreen. The keyboard is located under the display and impresses with its clear layout. A stylus for signature capture is optionally available for the Lane 5000. The Lane 5000 is connected to the cash register with a single cable solution , ensuring a tidy cash register area without a tangled mess of cables.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the EC card reader also fits perfectly into the cash register area, saving space. However, the DeskPOS Lane 5000 does not have a printer.

Lane 5000: Various Payment Options

The Lane 5000 EC terminal is equipped with a 64-bit processor, which ensures fast processing of card payments. The EC card reader offers full flexibility because it can process all payment types including EMV chip and contactless payments .

This means your customers can also pay with their smartphone and Apple or Google Pay. The NFC contactless reader is positioned on the device in a customer-friendly manner. The privacy screen integrated flat into the terminal also offers maximum security when paying.

Lane 5000: Maximum Security

The EC card reader Lane 5000 meets all the security requirements of the German banking industry and is certified by PCI 5.x and EMV, among others. The EC terminal also has an anti-theft lock, detection of abnormal cable removal and automatic locking in the event of a threat. “Point To Point Encryption” is available as an option for the Lane 5000. This allows you to protect yourself against data theft.
